I've been to shows at some interesting venues. Skate parks, churches, fairs, converted movie theaters, basements, yards, etc. But I'm pretty sure that a pool was not on the list. I guess the Arctic Monkeys didn't like us. After a surprising loud (punk!) set, they stormed off the stage without even considering an encore. It was immediate: last note played, house lights came on. Usually I can tell when the band is pissed at the crowd, but Alex Turner's Yorkshire 
The problem with LA is that you need to buy tickets months in advance for most shows. There are just too many people in this town and shows sell out quickly. The problem with my job is that I have no idea whether I'll be in LA two weeks from
