These guys are not good at picking dates at the Echo. Last time they were scheduled when MIA was playing downstairs. This time we could feel vibrations from the Go Team's set in the Echoplex basement. With the eastside hipster audience divided, the crowd was pretty sparse for this show. Sparse, but loud and engaged.

Yes, I just saw these guys a few months ago. Yes, it was at the same venue. No, they haven't put out any new material since the last show. Yes, I spend too much money on music. Yes, I cheated and included a YouTube clip from their July show. No, I really don't have anything interesting to say that I haven't already said about them. Except that I met two of the band members after the set. And they were super nice. And they brought a girl up from the crowd--a girl who had volunteered beforehand via email--to sing vocals on one of their last songs. So yeah, I like these guys even more now. And I'll probably see them next time they visit the Echo. Hopefully the basement will be empty.
